If Rankins is considered raw, and he's already known for heavy hands and being exceptionally quick, then he's going to be beastly.
 
Id imagine he's working back into game speed and probably was somewhat hesitant and overthinking in his first game back from a broken leg.

That's literally the opposite of what Darryl Tapp just said, when he said Rankin was the most technically refined rookie he has seen in his career
 
I took it as raw in game snaps played. Just needs experience. Several players have already quoted him as being technically sound for a rookie. He played excited and probably pressed a little bit. Like i said...he cussed himself out on the sideline because he didn't get to that fumble that Vaccaro recovered.

He's chomping at the bit. I didn't take that as anything negative. 1st game as an NFL player....there wasn't much of a plan in his head probably but to go out there and attack and be disruptive.
