If I know the natural log of x equals say 3.... how do I find x? I'm having a complete brain freeze.

ln(x) = 3? just apply e to both sides. i.e. e^3 = x.

many thanks... i was making it way harder than necessary...

trying to find the antiderivative of 1/x and finding the area of 1-a = 3... blech. Total meltdown...
