Dunn officially asked for the Falcons to Release him. I think he knew it was coming anyway. Wonder who will pick him up?

I would snatch him up if I were the Packers. Just to carry 5-10 times/game

Wouldn't hurt to see the Louisiana native in the mix competing in black and gold. Wouldn't spend a lot of money on him, but it wouldn't hurt to give such a good guy a chance to make good in his home state. With our RB question marks, what's the harm?

OMG he would melt right into his hometown, very proud of this guy and he's such a good guy, he'd be on the top of the recovery effort there and strive to get his game back.

If Tampa didn't just sign Stecker it would make a lot of sense if he went back to Tampa. I don't see us signing him even though he would be a great fit. We simply have enough depth at Rb.

He would make a nice compliment to Stephen Jackson in St. Louis. He could also be a nice fit as a change of pace back in Baltimore.

He's a native of Baton Rouge.

He'd be a good fit for someone with young running backs needing leadership or someone not looking for a bruiser. He'd be a great mentor for Reggie, since they are of the same build and have a similar style, but it would be a bad decision to bring him to New Orleans. He's a small, quick guy.. we have one already. Probably Tampa would take him.

Wait, didn't we just resign Stecker??

Yes, but re-signing Stecker does not preclude us from letting a number of running backs with ???????????????????????????????

ALL COMPETE IN CAMP..

& THEN THE STRONGEST WILL SURVIVE...

& MAKE THIS TEAM STRONGER.

Competition is healthy.

Why leave the RB position to chance? We need an insurance policy. Signing a couple extra RB's could improve the odds that at least 1 will emerge and separate himself from the pack.

However, the best possible scenario at RB would be to retain the POWER & GLORY combo of DEUCE and REGGIE. Short of that, it would be nice to have a good 1-2 punch as a RB tandem.

True, Dunn is not big, but he is an effective interior runner for a guy his size. PT Cruiser could also could continue to impress. Having Stecker in the fold seems like a sound move as well. Reggie may break out. Deuce may show everybody that rehab is possible a second time around.

The point is that I like our current RB's, and despite their respective issues. The numbers game is the best possible insurance policy.

WITH ENOUGH RB's ON THE ROSTER, competition will bring out the best in each of them.

Why would you want the Pack to snatch him up? We should snatch him up for insurance. Never can have too many backs. Then we could use Reggie like we did in '06. We could rotate him, Reggie and Aaron. Also use him to spell Duece and Pierre. This would keep everybody fresh. Especially Duece. What does anybody think. He should come over for a reasonable price. I'd give him a 3-yr deal. Give him a $2 million signing bonus and the rest in incentives. He's durable and absolutely worth it.

I think he would fit right in with the Colts as a change of pace to Addai. Dungy also likes good guys, which he definitely is. I am not sure we have enough roster spots, and we are trying to get younger, not older.

I'd like to bring him in for a look-see. Try to sign him to a one-year deal.
