Eagles' only fullback Tapeh will be a gametime decision (1 Viewer)

That's huge...you could say that about a number of our star players....

He's just another blocker. Anyway, he is expected to play. If not, Buckhalter will play FB in those sets which means one more option (with the ball) that we don't normally have. I wouldn't get too excited about Tapeh missing. I've always liked the Westbrook / Buckhalter backfield.

If your coach liked it as much as you do, he'd probably use it as his #1 option. Don't act like it mean anything.

Tapeh is a better lead blocker. Buckhalter is a better runner and receiver. Buckhalter is the #2 HB. Westbrook's touches get limited each game. Buckhalter has even more durability concerns than Westbrook. That is why they only use the Westbrook/Buckhalter combo about 5-10 plays per game. But when injuries dictate things ... That's how it goes. You can't worry about limiting touches at this point in the season.

You're the guys acting like losing Tapeh would be a big blow to the Eagles. It simply wouldn't be and it looks like he'll play anyway. So expect to see Tapeh in, but maybe not quite as much and expect to see more of the Westbrook/Buckhalter backfield than normal. Good luck.
