Ellerbe..... (1 Viewer)

Anybody else stoked by the fact that Ellerbe has played in two-straight games?

We really need him in this home stretch!

:gosaints:

Me for sure.

He's getting healthier and healthier. Generally speaking, the more time elapses after the original injury and the quad, the less likely a setback.

He looks a little chubby. When he gets in full game shape, he will be a stud.

Will the "Cut LRB" crowd show their face please? I have a nice warm plate of crow for you. :ezbill:

He was straight balling yesterday. He and Cam were constantly in Goff's face and all over the place.

i was not/am not a 'cut LRB' person, but people weren't packing his bags b/c he was a bad player, it's b/c he had the same playing time as all of the posters on this board

I understand. My argument was cut him to add what? 4 to 9 games from a really good player is better than 16 games from #53 on the roster right?

(Not directed at Guido, just his constituents that he is mentioning.)

Yeah.

I also think Vaccaro could be higher on that list with a better secondary/NB since we use him in that role so often. If he has good coverage and the pass doesn't go his way that doesn't show up on the stat sheet. He's literally covering up a lot of deficiencies in this D namely at Sam LB/NB. B4 Ellerbe returned he was playing WLB on some snaps too.

He plays with so much violence and intensity that has to be why he gets hurt so much.

Yep. And wen u have a D player who plays like dat, his style of play starts becoming contagious!

So heres to hoping he syays healthy!!!

Seeing that he has remained healthy for several weeks and is still going strong, it looks like the coaches got it right on his rehabilitation schedule! :9:

Dude is an absolute BEAST!
