Elon Musk makes $43 Billion offer for private buyout of Twitter (2 Viewers)

Elon is making a really good case for why it's generally not a good idea for billionaires to exist. This doesn't happen if Elon didn't have 200 billion of Tesla stock to play with.
It never goes up for sale if Jack wasn't lame and lost control of his platform to morons in the 1st place. Peak twitter was from 2009-2012, it got worse and worse after. Elon has super unrealistic standards that nobody is going to meet. Nobody wants to work for a slave driver and a never-ending crunch culture.

But then again, I'm not Tony Stark.
Musk is Robert Downey Jr, playing Tony Stark... but 90's Downey Jr... and he really thinks he is like Tony Stark and can instantly be "an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics" after some late night reading.

When is Bluesky supposed to launch again? Jack Dorsey got a point in his favor back when he pulled political ads from twitter saying:
political message reach should be earned, not bought.

It never went up for sale. Elon offered a truck load of money with the idea he could do it better.

Most people are open to selling their home if someone knocks on your door, and offers 100% over the comps on your street.

Yeah... and probably Twitter never becomes a reality... or Google... or smart phones... or the internet...

... but not the forum.

Yup I wouldn't even comment if you don't understand the difference in venture capital vs personal wealth.

You also used some really bad examples. The role of the government, and Stanford in the early internet is a rabbit hole you may want to go down.

Again, not the forum.
