As of today, The Advocate went full subscription for me.

Clicking an article sends me to a page where I must subscribe for $10 a month.

Sigh...

I got the app so I could read the articles.

Speaking of Duncan, he’s gone completely silent on Twitter since this was announced (Saturday). Very unusual for him, wonder what he’s hearing about getting hired back...

If you open The Advocate’s web site in incognito mode, it disables the pay wall.

I don’t know how long it will be b/f they fix that loophole, but it was working for me on Friday.

It is sad to see printed paper slowly going away. I have a big heart for everything printed. I still buy CD of my favorite band just to have a hard copy in my hand. I buy books that I feel is important to me. I collect magazines and newspapers of important events. Technologies....everyone wants it but don't realize what have to be given up.
