I'm going to be building a workshop over the winter, and I was planning on coating the slab with an epoxy floor.

Does anyone have any experience with that? Any advice??

Thanks in advance...

I have plenty of experience with it. We would acid etch the concrete with a 10:1 water to muriatic acid mixture. Then wash it off twice with straight water and vacuum it up with a shop vac. Make sure to wear a respirator when etching and painting. The epoxy can be rolled or sprayed onto the concrete. I would just use a roller for your application (unless you already have a paint gun) and paint multiple coats. Once you mix the two part epoxy, the clock is ticking so make sure the concrete is clean, dry, and ready to be painted. Be careful with spills, I never found anything that would take off the epoxy.
