He is on the list, but my question is how much of the success in KC has been Andy Reid and the talent of Mahomes. You definitely consider Bienemy and interview him, but also take into account how much Andy Reid is the reason for the success there. Is it like Carmichael here? Why did Carmichael never get the push for a head coach position like Bienemy has? I don't know the answers to these questions. There are probably very good/logical answers to these questions but those are questions to ask.

I disagree… Give the keys to the offense to Pete Carmichael Jr. He’s been here the entire time, and nobody (outside of maybe Drew Brees) knows Payton’s offense better than Pete. He can run the same offense (essentially) only with his own little spin and nuances on it.

If they blow it up at this point, then they’d be wasting the best years of guys like Alvin Kamara while they all learn a new offense.

Payton is gone, its a new day, new regime.

My sense is DA will be at the top of the list though they will conduct a search. But I can tell you, Flores will not be chosen. One of the things that Jeff indicated to the Bears when he interviewed was that he would not ever work with Flores.
