Plus with the "no-name" RBs who made an impact in the NFL this year, I can see a lot of these guys sliding a good bit.

Kinda funny. Why come out as a junior with that kind of talent?

I forgot Mendenhall, the central florida back, Tashard Choice too.

Who are the sure fire first rounders?
1. Mcfaddin
2. Jones
3. Mendenhall
4. Stewart
5. ??????

Isn't Ray Rice coming out too? The Rutgers back?

No idea where he'd project, but he turned in some good games in his career and finished with close to 300 IIRC in the bowl game.

Wow. Look at all the Running Backs in this draft

The running back landscape changed tremendously in a matter of weeks. Before the bowl games this was a terribly weak draft class for running backs featuring good players, but nothing spectacular (Mike Hart, Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, etc).

Now though you've got serious talent available: McFadden, Jones, Mendenhall, Rice, Slaton, Charles, K. Smith, Stewart, and J. Davis have all declared or are reportedly declaring. I can't help but imagine part of the reason for some many 1st to 3rd round guys declaring is the weakness in this year's senior class and the higher grades/projects they subsequently received from the NFL's advisory committee.

Next year's class may end up being the weak one it appears.
