I just learned of this today, so I'm probably quite late to the party, but... There's a new football (actual football, not soccer) team near Paris called the Saints. (https://www.parissaints.com/). The Paris Saints logo is quite different than that of our New Orleans Saints. It features a cross with fleur de lis at the ends of each branch.

They're playing in the European League of Football (ELF). Looking at the ELF team roster (https://europeanleague.football/league/tickets), there are several teams that follow similar names and logos as their US NFL counterparts.

I have no idea what, if any, marketing agreements might exist between those teams, but I found it pretty interesting.

Their season last year ran from June through September. Games appear to be available on Game Pass.

since Paris's big futbol team is Paris Saint Germain - i assume the football team is trying to ride the coattails of the other team to an extent
