It is totally obvious to me that every one of the commentators on Television and the Radio are just in love with USC...

I understand that USC and Michigan both have one loss... so it comes down to who has the better loss... and that answer is Michigan who lost to the #1 team in the Nation Ohio State... USC lost to Oregon State who was not even ranked... it is clear to me who is the better team

Everyone keeps saying that Michigan got their shot already... but i disagree because the game was not played at a neutral site it was played at ohio state... and the Buckeyes only won by 3 pts... In college home field advantage is a huge advantage for the home team... that is why i think Michigan deserves another shot at Ohio State on a neutral field

If any other one loss team should have a chance to play in the title game it shoul be Florida not the Trojans

It seems pretty clear to me though if USC takes care of UCLA that they will jump over Michigan in the poles because their is a USC bias in the voting system... that is why the college football bowl system is crap

When LSU won the national championship by winning the national championship game the voters were suppose to vote the winner of that game as the #1 team in the nation... they did not only becuase the other team that they could vote for #1 was the Trojans

We need a playoff to solve all of this

How sweet would it be for LSU to play USC in a bowl game... so we could drill them into the ground

A USC and LSU game would be awesome!!! We can beat USC. USC has not played anyone this year. Boy then We would play them on there own turf. That would send a statment to the WHOLE WORLD that LSU is not playing anymore and that the SEC is the best and hardest confrence in the NCAA. I want a USC and LSU Rose Bowl!!!! GOOOOOOOO GATORSSSSSS kick some RAZOR back butt.

WVU just lost to south florida which is about on par to USC's loss to OSU. Only difference is Souther Cal is a media goliath and WVU is Coal country.

you said it... WV has a good squad... they got defeated because of turnovers just like the saints did in the past weeks... it goes to show you that any team can beat any other team on any day if the turnovers fall their way

The press has ALWAYS loved USC.(puke)

I pulled for them for the first time yesterday. I only did this bk. I knew it would help LSU.

LSU vs. USC would be very awesome though.

That whole debate about the National Championship and USC claiming to be number one when LSU won still sickens me.

A game between the two may lay some of that to rest.........finally.

LSU would excell, of course.

Remember when those clowns @ ESPN said that last year's USC team was the best college football team ever?

Absolutely sickening.

Nah, nothing would be settled. It would only serve to fire up an old debate that doesn't really matter anymore. It's 3 years too late to settle anything, unfortunately.

It'll never be settled now, for a lot of people (although you and I both know that in reality it WAS settled when Saban raised that crystal trophy.)

Saban, Muschamp, Mauck, Devery/Jack Hunt, Lavalais, Spears, Skyler, etc. etc. etc. etc..... all gone. Bush, Leinart, Mike Williams, etc. etc. etc.

It would be The Jimbo Fisher & Justin Vincent vs. Pete Carroll Bowl. Meh.

I'd love for LSU to finally get a crack at USC, but the only real tie to 2003 at this point are the logos on the helmets. Michigan is an equally appealing prospect, IMHO, if not moreso at this point because of the Miles connection.

Thanks for the kind words on wvu fellas.

Nagging injuries, turnovers, and an entire secondary
consisting of freshman were bound to catch up with us.

High tv markets get the pub.

USC is tough, ya gotta admit. If they win out, they deserve a shot
and Michigan should grab the Rose.

yeah i know... what happened vs Texas
Amen and it will happen again vs OSU and it won't be as close. USC has not seen a team like OSU all year while OSU played a very good Mich team that has a much better Def than USC and had a balanced Offensive attk. I think it is comical to hear Carroll say in an interview "we had the toughest schedule in college fbal"...while I give them credit for their out of conference sched: Neb, Ark, and ND; I give them NO CREDIT for their in conference sched in the Pop Warner Ath Conf. I would love to see USC play a SEC sched: LSU, AUB, ALA, SC, GA, TENN and ARK...oh that is the sched FLA played this year and add FSU. While I am NOT a gator fan, they are being overlooked in the conversation.

I hope OSU knocks the spit out of their mouths in Jan!

I know I'll take some shot for being a complete Buckeye homer, but I disagree. If you cannot win the conference, you don't deserve to have a shot in the BCS title game.

I agree with the playoff idea though. Always have
