After reading the Astros Report, I expect Alex Cora will be banned from the dugout once MLB conclude its investigation into his Sox run.

If you haven't read the full report from Manfred, I recommend reading it. He gave them the highest amount in a fine he was allowed to. It seems like he didn't punish the players because it would have been nearly all of them to some degree, but there was no way in telling who benefited more than the other. As for the GM and Manager, he hammered them, but probably should've have hammered them more for what the knowingly allowed to go on. Cora should be banned for life. Pete Rose gambled on games that he played in, but that pales in comparison to what this team did. It wasn't a loophole that they exploited, it was blatant cheating and knowing exactly what they were doing and trying to come up with better and more secret ways of doing it.

How many opposing pitcher's careers were ruined by this cheating? Yu Darvis was unbelievable that year, and his career got tarnished by this cheating.

Players from the yankees and dodgers may have missed out on MAJOR paydays if they would have won the 2017 world series, just like rendon just did with the nationals.

this is damn shame. my support of the current astros players is 100% over. I loved those guys, they were fun to watch, but I am done

Agreed, I am not in the camp of just handing the Dodgers the 2017 WS but I am in the camp of erasing the win of Houston's WS. Remove all banners and any memorabilia at the ballpark. Take WS rings away. If Reggie had to lose his Heisman because an agent bought his parents a house, this should happen as well.

I was upset that the coach and GM got fired until I looked into it because I wasn’t following it at all. They definitely deserved to be fired after I watched a few videos on it.

Don't be decieved. You have to consider the source here. "Jomboy" probably belongs to the "Moon Landing was Faked" crowd.

No, he's been pretty on target with this, and is willing to own up when he gets something wrong.

He's definitely a Yankees fan but he's also half the reason this is even coming to light.

Dunno. I didn't know he was a yankees fan, but that explains a lot. I watched his piece a few days ago and it seemed pretty weak. Unless he has changed the video.

Here's what I saw:

1. You have a camera panning around the outfield (center field area). While hes telling you the theory there's someone out there with a camera. My first thought is that it must be a military grade 10000 v zoom lens or the frickin Hubble telescope that can actually see the catcher put the signs down from centerfield.

2. Then he's saying the sign is getting relayed toward the bullpen. My first thought there is there must be some pretty smart guy to be able to decipher rotating signs that quickly? If so, why don't they just make him a hitting coach? Why send the sign to the bullpen even? Are they communicating via two dixie cups and a string? Is there some reason the relief pitchers have to know. If so, not much of a "cover up" was going on

3. All the while he keeps pointing out astros players are looking toward the dugout and actually hearing a series of morse-code-like signals audibled in with a bat and a garbage can (amidst the noise of a playoff game).

Unless the Astros got:
1. bionic ears for all the players
2. supercameras the size of a normal cell phone

and

3. a guy with a 4000+ IQ sitting in center field somewhere

I just don't buy it.

The fact that "Jomboy" is a Yankqueens fan doesn't surprise me. I'm sure there are millions Dodger's fans too who are "enlightened" by his breakdown. Much in the same way that liberals are "enlightened" by stories in Mother jones and conservatives are equally "enlightened" by Breitbart news stories.

No, the Astros simply won too much. Between 2015-2019 they stomped. They beat the elite in baseball and they drew the ire of millions of people. Hey haters gon hate. Hinch is a cocky SOB too. He's like the Baseball version of SP. He cut and dropped a lot of players too, including Mike "the Liar" Fiers.

This is a weak case that could have been challenged and won if Jim Crane wanted to. After all the money he spent to turn the Astros into a winner, he must see this all as a convenient excuse to pull his chips off the table.

Well there is the fact that AJ Hinch admitted it was going on, but OK.

The report already said there was NO finding of electronic devices on the players. It’s BS he even had to make a statement through his agent that he didn’t do it. Honestly anyone going after Altuve has rocks for brains
