For a class I have to plot the function y(x)=5sin(10x) over the region 0<x<6.5

However, this is no problem to do on paper, it is just basic trig. However, for this class I have to use Excel. This is where I am encountering a problem. Anyone know how to enter this in excel, then have it graphed?:1zhelp:

What increments of x do you need to use?

Create a column x, and a colums whose formula is your function (I don't know the Excel sin funcion offhand), i.e replace "10x" with 10 * (cell reference).

Then create a graph on those two columns.

I was just going to do increments of .1

Once I figured it out, I felt slightly stupid. It has been seven years since I messed with excel and now it is more complicatedly simple.
