The Saints are a bad team. Don’t torture yourself.
We aren't discussing being a good team. We are talking about winning the NFC South. Lol

You're so "silly" but I love the way you move!I would love to see the Saints in the playoffs with a losing record, then run the table and win the Superbowl. I can dream.
Looks like their QB will be out.And the Bucs play SF next week. There’s a legit chance the Saints can get the division lead on the bye.
The lost to Briskett.Looks like their QB will be out.
That's kind of disturbing, actually. At 7-10 the Saints would absolutely be a bad team. Playoffs plus wins over the 3 division rivals -- and no others -- would mean that all Saints wins would've come against teams without winning records unless Seattle somehow holds off the Rams today, which is no gimme, or SEA, LV or LAR somehow goes on a winning streak.I was messing around with the playoff tracker (for some dumb reason) and If the Saints beat the Bucs they have a good shot at making the playoffs even with a 7-10 record. The need to beat the Bucs, Panthers and Falcons.
Yea. So there is a chance. But we won’t be tied for first as of tom with a W.But the Bucs play the Niners during the Saints bye then the play the Bengals while the Falcons come down to NOLA.
Allen is coming back next season, we could lose out and Allen will still be back. That's kind of disturbing, actually. At 7-10 the Saints would absolutely be a bad team. Playoffs plus wins over the 3 division rivals -- and no others -- would mean that all Saints wins would've come against teams without winning records unless Seattle somehow holds off the Rams today, which is no gimme, or SEA, LV or LAR somehow goes on a winning streak.
And Saints-in-the-playoffs would be an excuse to bring back the Dennis Allen coaching and apple dumpling gang. The only good thing would be a bottom-third of the first round pick for Philly, which would make the trade a wash ex ante based only on the points value of the picks traded.
Meanwhile every week in the AFC gives us at least one and often two or three matchups of young, fairly good QBs. (Bengals-Chiefs and Bills-Pats this week, plus Chargers-Raiders, depending on your view of Carr.)
Ban the NFCS from the playoffs and let the CFP committee pick an 8th AFC team based on the eye test.
