My grandpa is very ill and he owns the boats. So my strategy is to enjoy whatever time on the water I get, optimum or not. I'm looking forward to a cool spell and launching out of Bayou Black though.

Redfish are plentifully. Few trout,just,Waiting on a few cool fronts hoping my trout spots start to pay off like last year.
Come on cool weather!!!!!!!

Went out today to fish some creeks by my house. Wind was whipping from the East. Found a small school of mostly legal trout, kept what I could and kept pushing further up the creek. Caught a couple more keepers and found a small school of upper slot reds in the bend of a creek about 10' wide. Landed two of them back to back and called it a day. Great morning of fishing.
