They forked it up harder than No Man's Sky.

They forked it up harder than No Man's Sky.

Which is pretty awful considering Bethesda is supposedly a AAA developer. Hello Games was 10 people in Sean Murray’s basement.

I guess time will tell if they can turn it around but I don’t think people will care by then. They really sheet the bed.

My favorite part is paying 15 bucks to change my color to Blue. So sexy.

I’ve never really given fallout a chance, was planning on playing this one but it seems to be getting slaughtered! I may pick it up when the price falls.

this isn't really a Fallout game....it's an online survival game with a FO skin on it....Fallout has traditionally been a single player action RPG....

you can probably buy FO4 for pretty cheap

Yes, this is literally a very sheetty version of Rust. Rust is a very sheetty survival game. So if you like this game you might as well play Rust or something better like Ark or 7 Days to Die for a better experience. All this game did was take the Fall Out 4 assets and flip them for microtransactions while jumping on the Survival bandwagon. It's pretty predatory of them.

The damage they did both to reputation and to income might jeopardize the quality of future games people might actually want to play. What a shame they took this path.

If anyone wants a code for this game (on xbox), dm me.
Or if anyone has an amazon prime account, anyone can get a copy of it (on pc or xbox), and/or also can play fallout 3, and fallout new vegas on their "luna" cloud streaming platform

A17 for 7 days to die is coming out Monday just to put the hammer to this turd of a game.
Ah... member when I used to like 7 days to die?

The end game hasn't changed very much in the 4 years since I acquired it. it's great at first. Something new. But then you realize it's the same ♥♥♥♥ with every play through. With each once a year update, you get the most minor additions, or some minor change in mechanics. The AI is completely exploitable. They've probably spent more time than anything else trying to make the AI smarter or harder to deal with, but ultimately after a few tries, you will figure out the new way to exploit the AI. In fact that is pretty much the entire game. Figuring out how to exploit the AI, sounds like a great end game right? Nope, there is no end game. The end game is for you to eventually give up or get bored and start over. Start over to do the same exact thing over again, build the same exact base over again, do the same exact progression cycle over again.

Edit 2022 Alpha update: and in the latest development updates.. they continue to overhaul the mechanics of the game once again with what seems like another 180 in the direction of the game. Each year a new alpha comes and each year it seems like they are just redoing the same things over and over again. As if the development of this game is mirroring the game play loop in this game. They don't want you to get to the end game because their is no end game. Instead of refining the systems in place and making progress on a ancient road map that continues to be pushed off into eternity, they are once again revamping and reversing previous design changes wasting yet another year of development to backtrack. This happens seemingly every year. The road map is discussed, then suddenly when the Alpha is finally being presented, nothing in the road map has progressed and is pushed off to the future to focus on changing core mechanics of the game. The game doesn't have a true vision.

Edit 2023 Alpha Update: and here we are again... completely overhauling the progression system, doing another 540 Airwalk on the previous changes. Every single year, a completely overhauled progression system. Just pick one. It's as if they make changes to the game, they hate the way the players adapted to those changes, so they gotta completely revamp them again and the cycle continues. Next year, a new progression system. No bandits(we've been waiting for over 5 years).... Uh uh uh, that's not how we want you to play the game, time to flip it on its head again.
