I've also met KoRn, Cypress Hill, Helmet (pre-concert signings at The Mushroom on Broadway).

Back in the late 90s, i was working security at the door of a Bourbon St establishment that shall remain nameless (incidentally, our own Superchuck stopped in a time or two).. One time these three guys approached wanting to come in; they were each approximately 5’3” tall, wearing long shorts and with multiple tattoos and piercings.. back then i guess i wasnt as evolved, and tended to judge books by their covers.. I told them I couldn’t let them in, dress code, etc etc.. and I’ll never forget one of them pleading with me ‘Come on man, we just got nominated for a Grammy!’.. Turns out they were Korn.. I’d never heard of them.. But to this day, my little brother gives me ish about that becuase at the time, he was a drummer in a band and he idolized those guys.
