I've been binge-watching Killing Eve (Villanelle rocks) and the subject of villains seemed like a decent/indecent topic.

So... Who are your favorite or most hated villains in history, movies, television, literature, EE (Hi GMR), etc.

I'll start with some obvious ones.

History

(tie) Joseph Stalin and Adolph Hitler

Two of the biggest mass murderers in history. Enough said.

Literature

The Devil

History's favorite antagonist has been featured in all forms of literature. The Exorcist, Paradise Lost, Inferno, and the Bible are prime examples.

Movies

Darth Vader

A good example of a "cool" villain. The dark side never looked so good.

Television

Joffrey Baratheon

What an arse. No redeeming qualities. Man, I hated that kid.
