Is there any surprise, and will there be a huge panic after hearing of every fan who tests positive from this point on? Not taking it lightly, but it's not like no one thought not a soul attending the games might come down with or something. Now, if players start getting it and spreading it like crazy, that'll be a different story.

People are overreacting to this. This guy could have got it when he shook the hand of the policeman outside the stadium. The players are in a bubble of sorts pre and post game. test on friday limited to facilities and hotel till game, then test after game. They carry trackers so all contacts can be traced. Players are safe and fans need to be cautious and if they have health concerns stay away from the game.

Right WHO CARES that this fan was there.


News really running out of headlines for Covid as the deaths are down. Death rates were high as weaker/ppl with under line issues got Covid.

Don't think players are at risk of a random event like this.... but the people around this guy can contract it and spread it. That is the news worthy part.

1660 NFL players, 0 deaths. So I don't think the players and coaches will worry much about it other than quarantine time.

And let's just wait till the cold air returns again. That's what the top scientists are really concerned about. Just read today that Europe is dramatically increasing # of cases in the last few weeks. That just so happens to be when Europe started to cool down. But this is still speculation about how the virus will act in cooler air.

The rise in cases is due to relaxing lockdown restrictions. You can’t hide from the virus. It’s going to affect its percentage of the population in any given area no matter what you do. Lockdowns were silly.
