Hey all, I am doing some research and I am trying to get some feedback from fantasy footballers. If you wouldnt mind, take a second to vote for what you do to prepare for your fantasy football season.

i bought a magazine for like 8 bucks....but really that's dumb....all you need is a list of the top players at each position and a list of the top players overall and draft accordingly....it's all luck....

who knew matt hasselbeck would miss 5 games after starting off hot??

who knew drew brees would be the top fantasy QB??

etc

While there is a good bit of luck involved, there certainly is more to it than luck. Just with your example above, I drafted Brees in a good bit of leagues as my backup QB because he was available to me at the right time. It takes skill to take those risks and win in fantasy football.

Pay Internet sites are the best.

But my family goes to the beach for a week before each Labor Day. So I get three mags (college, pro, FF) and that's what I read. All week.

call it what you want.....there is some skill involved, but only for the draft.....after that, it's gambling every week.....

Got serious ths year (my 3rd) and did the premium service thing - because of their ability to update and remain current - combined with my own research. The one magazine I looked at sucked.

It's payed off - I'm in the playoffs in 5 of 8 leagues so far and will most likely make 2 of the remaing 3. My worst record is 7/6 and my best 13 / 0. average record is 9/4.
