oh my. my daughter is getting married in may.

i was born with two left feet, yet blessed with the most wonderful daughter in the world. i need -----desperately!--help in finding the right song.

1) short--under four minutes yet i feel i'll want the moment to go on forever.
2) prefer a country song, yet we share a common cat stevens attraction
3) i'd love to start crazy but end slow
4) anyone been in my awkward shoes?

toss me anything------please no nickleback.

Worst day of my life was trying to dance with my mom for my wedding. My goodness that was horrible. I don't have a song choice but I would go with a slow song with a steady beat. I am a good dancer as long as good dancing is judged as something that resembles someone moving back and forth like a wounded walrus.


Pick a song and try to practice with your daughter a little bit before the wedding. It will not be too bad. 30 seconds after the dance is over, the only two that will remember it will be you and your daughter.



Unless of course somebody is video recording it on their iPhone and it and it shows up on Youtube the next day. :covri:

i am not a country fan by any means but this damn song gets me every time. a little over your budget, but it seems apropos for the situation.

As a "daddy's girl" I can tell you all she wants is for you to be out there with her looking into her eyes with pride and love. Nothing else matters.

Drink a lot. Eat some acid. Don't kid yourself about dancing being worthwhile and pay for all the booze.
