They weren't injured on cut blocks, they were non contact injuries. Look at the Twitter posts of the plays, stop spreading misinformation.

Look you can have an injury and then it kicks in a play or two later because of adrenaline. I'm not ruling it out. It would be interesting to see statistics on how many teams lost defenders to injury when facing Shanahan's lines.

Rankins was getting outplayed by Shy Tuttle, but still hate to lose any interior lineman. It’s going to be a HUGE loss to lose Davenport. He was a beast this season

Yes, Davenport was coming on. Young man has foot issues, he had surgery last year too. I agree Shy Tuttle has been playing better than Rankins. Honestly, Rankins is a good guy but I don’t think we should resign him to a big deal. He has only played one full season for us and he hasn’t turned into the All Pro type of player a lot thought he would (of course that’s prob b/c of the injuries).

whatever happened to Rankins happened right before halftime

Steve Geller (Saints radio sideline reporter) said Rankins didn't return to the field out of the halftime break and that was the 1st time they really knew something was up with him

I believe a combination of Onyemata, Tuttle, and some Edwards Jr mixed in, the DT rotation can stay strong. The injury to Davenport hurts worse.
