Rankins and Breaux back and saints getting better each week gives me more hope than ever this year. With Moore and Breaux back there I feel like we have an actual Nfl caliber CB group. I think last week was the turning point. We beat a team that most think will be in the NFC championship. WHO DAT!

I think the win over the Seachicks was a complete game, not in personnel , I mean football wise

Does anyone know if Moore and Breaux start, or do they get eased back on a snap count?

I definitely agree with that.

Now it's time to put up back to back complete games, giving us a ton of momentum and confidence going into a very tough game vs Denver.

Agree. Watch closely. You're about to see the 2016 Saints for the first time this year.

Look out NFL.

The Saints are a bad team if they can't win today. I'm sure most of us could agree on that? Today is the day the Saints show who they are. They have their top CB and DT (in training camp at least) today, and another CB who has played pretty good (Moore for Saints' standards).... so we get to see them at full strength against a bad team.

Agree.

But watch what happens, man. Today's the first time we let the NFL see the 2016 New Orleans Saints. Today we give warning. It'll be beautiful, mark my words.

Gave up 17 of 23 points in the second quarter. Gave up 3 points in second half. Still haven't put together a 4 quarter game. Close though!

People will find a way to whine......so I'll probably still avoid the board for a bit to not have to see what they come up with.

Love you guys. Love our D. It's in the infancy giving up big plays but it is looking aggressive. Pressure. TOs. Starting to look like shades of 2011 and 2013.

not quite the complete game I was hoping for as Kaepernick is a pretty bad qb and we made him look like a Pro Bowler for way too much of the game....that is worrisome

but the positives to take from it are the 3rd down stops, forcing them to settle for fgs, and making 2nd half adjustments

it was definitely a mixed bag on defense

we sorely need ellerbe back on the field, he just seems to be the glue
