Film Study: Why Emmanuel Sanders will be a GREAT addition to the New Orleans Saints (1 Viewer)

This is huge! It isn't often that Drew Brees has had two receivers that had to be double covered!

We're also in pretty good shape going into the draft (including the crop of UDFA's that will likely be out there)!!!!

:gosaints:

Sanders should make the entire offense more efficient. Even if he has just 60 receptions and 5 touchdowns on the year that’s leaps and bounds above our other receivers besides Thomas.
I still want another receiver drafted early as a long term solution and an immediate number 3.

Sanders is gonna be crushing. No one processes faster that Drew Brees and Sanders is amazing at finding those little windows. And he catches everything like MT. Those 3 on the field should be magical together.

Thats assuming father time doesn't get drew or sanders

So Drew never had a #2 receiver to go with a #1. Guess Mechem, Henderson and Moore were scrappies to go with Colsten... oh how we forget...

If we’re getting Emmanuel Sanders at his best none of those players are on his level.

You can only put Brandon Cooks in that category he’s more inline with an E.Sanders .

The crazy thing is people forget just in 2016 we had the u disputed #1 Wide receiver trio in the NFL with Snead, Cooks and Thomas whom the first two have went on to other teams and put up great numbers.

We’re back in that ball park with Sanders now like 2016 can the cam the Oline hold up we know it’s much better built but are they up for this challenge

He could really be the best #2 we have ever had. Don’t think we have had a #2 that is such a good route runner with some blazing speed to boot. Drew is gonna love this guy cause he should be where Drew thinks he’s gonna be on every route

The idea that Colston wasn’t a legit #1 is confusing to me. He played 10 seasons and put up 975 yds per season over that stretch.

I believe that Thomas + Sanders could end up being our best 1-2 punch ever at WR, but that doesn’t mean that Colston was a scrub, or that Cooks, Henderson, Meachem, Snead and/or Moore were scrubs.
