My own dad died of diabetes related problems 7 years ago. Most of his life was filled with ever increasing pain and dibilitating neurological problems. I hope this 'miracle find' has teeth for those still suffering.

Unless soemthing else kills me first, I'll die of complications from diabetes. Blame my mom's side of the family. I'd say over half the people eventually die of some diabetes-related crap.

I hope your dad didn't have to go through what my uncle went through. He had 3 amputations by the time he died.

My dad had one leg amputated. One of the reasons he died was he refused to have the other amputated.
