So much for the defensive guru to go along with Gentry's offensive genius experiment. I think if Gentry coached the darn dream team, they'd have turned the ball over 20 times and played poor defense. I've seen the get rid of Jru posts, but you could see him imploring the other players to step it up, especially on defense to absolutely no avail.

Being at the game last night, the defense folded like a lawn chair when they needed it most. Restricting Zion's minutes in crucial situation will be the undoing for Gentry. It should have been a trade of AD and AG last season but I think David makes good on that this offseason.

We just dont play defense. period.

some spurts we do, but overall not really.

With that said, i just tipped my cap to Luca when he absolutely abused Jrue in the final min to extend lead to 4. That was some skill he showed.

I sure hope so. Some people are saying he may get a pass because of the Zion injury. But he has been fired 4 previous times for failure at different stops as a head coach, so I think he has already proven what he can do......and it aint much. Plus we now lost 3 in a row with Zion - 2 at home, 1 against a 17 win team, 2 with an opponent's superstar player out. Should we give him a pass because JJ is out now? There will always be an excuse, but it is way past time for him to go.

Yeah, I keep seeing how easy our final 15-20 games are and am slightly worried that if we go on a run to end the season then Gentry will be retained.

Ingram is still jacking up 3's with too much time left on the shot clock. I believe gentry should go, but this is not on him

Ingram has been great all year. You never tell an all star not to take his shot just because of one bad game.
Plus with the game on the line he came through to keep the lead

I like Gentry, but I'm all for going after Atkinson. Honestly, I'll trust whatever Griffin/Langdon decide. Those dudes know how to run a team.
