My God what a horrible day on the lake. Got up early with the wife and daughter and headed out. Conditions seemed great but I gotta tell ya not a damn thing was biting. I threw everything in my tackle box and finally switched to night crawlers with the family and still nothing. But was nice out at least.

You should try deep see salmon out here .... I went earlier in mid-May and we caught one fish between the four of us (another caught one but had to throw back because it was too small). Neither I or my friend who is really into it even got a bite. And this an 8 hour trip, which we have to get up at 4 AM for...

Best part is this same friend said he had an "awesome" trip this weekend, despite once again, not being able to catch anything (he did get a bite but it broke off). I decided to pass this time. And he wants to go again!

No thanks

At least not until April, when they seem to catch alot...
