As expected, the New Orleans Saints will be well represented in the Pro Bowl.

But, as the players, and the players of every team in the league, will tell you, they would much rather be preparing for the Super Bowl at this time of year.

Luckily the Saints are expected to be among the teams in genuine contention for the Lombardi Trophy. Still, the Saints were prominently featured on the NFC’s final Pro Bowl roster.

On Tuesday, the league announced that quarterback Drew Brees, wide receiver Michael Thomas, tackle Terron Armstead, defensive end Cameron Jordan, and center Max Unger were named to the 2019 Pro Bowl.

Brees is completing a league high 74.9 percent of his passes, on pace to break his own NFL record in that department, while throwing for 3,966 yards, 31 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He is one of five quarterbacks all time to pass for over 500 touchdowns in his career, ranking second with 519 scoring passes, behind Peyton Manning (539). ...
