Florio picks Eagles to win (1 Viewer)

My friend's daughter's guinea pig is solidly with the Saints in a H2H food choice. So put your mind at ease.

Were the saints ever favored in 09?

Found this for the SB - and interestingly, the only guy that that picked the Saints was Yasinskas.

And, with a quick check on the official betting lines, the Saints were -7 vs. Arizona and -4 vs. Minnesota.

Coupling the bye week with a lackluster Week 17 game against the Panthers, and it will have been a long time since the Saints played a meaningful game. The Eagles have been playing meaningful games week after week after week.

Where have I heard this before....

I feel like we were power ranked 3 going into Super Bowl Sunday. I’m not entirely joking.

Ha, he will be lucky to go 2-2 with those picks.
Wait, I just read that again. He’s got both road teams winning this weekend in the NFC? Yeah, this man is trolling looking for clicks. Give me a break!

Agreed. I've never understood the doubters throughout the years despite our 6 playoff appearances, undefeated home playoff record and Superbowl in the Payton/Brees era.

Florio lost all credibility with this part "Coupling the bye week with a lackluster Week 17 game against the Panthers" huh? Is he seriously throwing that in his prediction to sway his readers, or himself? That's a ridiculous argument. I know he was including that in his "meaningful game" point, but it discredits him to mislead about a lackluster performance where Drew, Kamara, our Oline, and others didn't play.

There is no way the Saints score just 17 points at home. I give Foles his due to make this a closer game than the one they played during the regular season, but the Saints at home in the playoffs are not getting stopped on offense that many times. Saints got this.

Eagles are underdogs, just the way they like it best.
