Football season: chance of happening is approaching 0% (1 Viewer)

Only 19 days left after this until Saints Football in the Superdome becomes a reality

The smart prediction is that the season will begin on time, but not end that way. The chances it ends as scheduled will go up once more teams go fanless in the stands. I don't see how the integrity of the games can stand if some teams can allow fans and others won't. And without a doubt, there needs to be a playoff bubble of some kind.

Talking heads always like to argue about how much home field advantage means......but none of us ever thought we'd see the day where THIS kind of extreme example would provide the backdrop.

Across an eight-day period from August 12 to 20, zero players tested positive for COVID-19 on 23,260 administered tests.

Incredible. The NFL has done a phenomenal job with its safety measures to this point, and credit goes to the players and staffs as well. The real challenge will be when teams start to travel. But as of now, things are extremely positive (no pun intended) for the league. Week 1 is just 17 days away.

Yup. "Safer at work". No real surprise here.
