For All The Saints Fans In Tampa,fl (1 Viewer)

I am going to JTeks place. Its only 5 minutes from my house and its pretty good.

Hello Again Everyone! Been pretty busy so haven't had much time to post (stupid job!). Anyway, for the first game of the season I will be in New Orleans at the superdome watching the saints kick the succaneers @#$%^&. As for week 2 I will be at the cornerstone pub in northdale. Here is the link for the website if you want to check it out: http://www.corner-stone-pub.com/home.shtml Check out for menu, beer etc.

Here is the google map: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

My wife will be bartending that sunday (September 14th) and she will take care of all saints fans (bucs fans have to wait longer for a beer!). There are 3 50" plasmas plus about 6 35"-40" CRT's so there are plenty of TV's. I would recomend getting there around 12:30 for good seats, although there is not really any bad seats.

I know some of you live pretty far away so I would ok with rotating locations so that we can avoid just having a few people have to drive a long way!

I am open to everyone's suggestions and questions.

PS. Is anyone interested in a Fantasy Football league?

Jtek

1 WEEK BEFORE THE BIG GAME BUMP!!!!

Keep this thread on the main board until the week following if possible please.

also i have been to Crawfish Corner officially 9 times! lol i've got my job addicted to it, even created my own menus with google maps attached..
Love the food, it's as close to home as i can get close by..
Although Harry's Bar And Grill would give them a run for their money, but that's a Gourmet New Orleans Restaurant here in Tampa Bay.. if you guys never been you should GEUAX one day.. Make reservations that place stay packed!! very popular (of course New Orleans food is popular)...

I hope to see ya'll at the bar on gameday!

I'm in Dunedin, so Carollwood is a bit of a hike, but I could make it. I've got a big gumbo going this Sunday, but maybe next Sunday.

A buddy of mine was telling me about a place on Walsingham on the right before you get to Indian Rocks Beach. He said the guy is a big Saints fan, and he is going to have Sants games on Sundays on the big screen with sound. I'll have to find out the name of the place, it's new.

On another note, I'm in Andrus's fantasy football league, and the draft is tonight. We need three more teams, anybody interested? $250. entry fee, and it's worth it, I've been in for the past two years. PM Andrus, here is the link

Would make it more interesting to have someone else local in the league!!

That place off Indian Rock beach might be Bayou Cafe, it's in Seminole, Fl actually, right next to a flea market.

Cool.. hope to see you there week 2.. I hope we get a good crowd there as the weeks roll by, i know most have other plans this week though.

Ok everyone, I am back from my amazing trip to new orleans to watch the saints ***** slap those bucs!!! We all had a good time and was glad to see new orleans getting back on her feet. We did run into some limited dinner menus but overall the food was great (one of my biggest reasons to go to new orleans.). I enjoyed chargrilled oysters at Drago's, got some crawfish etouffee at Acme, had a mufallata at central grocery, some more etouffee at La Bayou and some jambalaya at the Prailine House.

My friends that went for the first time could not get over the size of the superdome! The said they really enjoyed the game and all the fans there were great. They said they have never meet fans that were so cool! I just said "of course"!!!

Ok now to football, I will be at the cornerstone pub at 12:15 on suday for the game. My wife will be bartending that day so all saints fans get the best service! The pictures that were just posted of the bar are pretty old now. All the big screen tv's are plasmas and most of the little tv's are also plasmas now!. We will have our own 50" plasma with volume!! And don't worry our tables are right in front of the tv. The view is awesome!! Since my wife controls the tv's, Saints fans get what they want!

I believe there is a special on buckets of domestic beer. 5 for $5. Dont qoute me on that since I wasn't there last sunday. Also, the cook working (danny) makes very good wings!!

So I hope to see all of you out there on sunday to cheer on our SAINTS!!! Any questions/comments etc...feel free to ask me!
You can recognize me by the Colston jersey I will have on, the saints hat, the saints tattoo!

WHO DAT!!

P.S. Since the bucs play at 4pm we should pretty much have the bar to our selves for the game!!
