In ‘09 I don’t remember any cars on poydras. Pretty sure it was blocked.

Yep, Poydras becomes effectively closed - regardless of official status.

The first time I remember that happening was after Hakim dropped the ball. The cars on Poydras were all stopped and people were getting out to dance and hug and just join the celebration with the fans leaving the Dome.

Nothing kills my game vibe more then a cop stopping the dome parade to let traffic through. Maybe security lines.
