Just flushed two more huge ones. What the heck. I never thought Id see the day when Id long for the good old days of huge new orleans roaches. I guess they moved in and had a party the 6 months this place wasnt lived in.

We used to get these in the house in Seattle.

I left 'em mostly alone though, as they eat hobo spiders like they're going out of style.

That looks quite similar to the really big one I flushed this morning, though cant be sure as it was laying on its back, already dead. Maybe the cat got to it. Have only dealt with a couple that size. The rest are smaller, though still big by spider standards. All black, angular. They are more sinister in a way, because they are harder to spot.
 
Wow. That is truly amazing.

Although, I am pretty sure that is a job that I won't be applying for, spider wrangler, spider silk harvester or even spider numberer.
