I guess. I still have and use parts from my first laptop. In a year it's time to upgrade. I can't see hanging onto the same technology for that long anymore. It's a PC, not a car.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But that "entry level" of laptops still function perfectly for what they were made for, doing "entry level" tasks. My Macbook still works great for word processing, internet browsing, e-mail, etc.
