Don't!

Since 2006 we've been able to sell out the dome for season ticket holders. Let's make it dome field advantage and hear less cheers from the so-called Steeler fans. I can't stand people who live in New Orleans and show up to the game just to root for the other team. The only way we can overcome such posters is to bleed black and gold over the entire dome!

The Steelers travel really well and they will pay good money for tickets. People who sell online have no control over who buys them. Our local ticket market for Saints fans isn't as strong as we'd like to think.

I already sold my tickets.. to other Saints Fans, since I won't be able to make the game. Took a heavy price discount too, didn't even sell them at list price.

This is true, but I do think that the fact that the game is December 23 probably limits their traveling fan-base somewhat. It's not any old weekend in the Fall. Going to New Orleans for the game means you're either going to be traveling back home (or to your family somewhere) on Christmas Eve, or you're just going to stay in New Orleans for Christmas. Some might do that, but I think it puts a damper on how many are circling that date as a good game to travel to.

True statement, I go to every game I don't sell my season tickets and if I couldn't attend they'd go to family in Nola but before every game I check to see what'd they sell for on SeatGeek and the highest dollar ones have been vs. Redskins, vs. Eagles, and vs. Steelers which was surprising to me since I was thinking divisional games would be higher but its because their travelling fan base is strong. There were a ton of Redskins and Eagles fans at our home games this year. The Rams definitely had the worst attendance for a visiting team and it was noticeable from how loud the dome got.

I will say I traveled to the Saints vs. Dallas game and we absolutely dominated that stadium, completely packed stadium had to be a 50-50 split I was so impressed by how many of our fans traveled or were based in Dallas. Its a shame we couldn't pull out the W with a traveling saints crowd like that.

The highest selling games are usually the non-divisional games - and in particular the AFC foes - because it's a rare chance to come to NOLA for visiting fans. Divisional foes see us all the time so the opportunity isn't as special.

Also just thinking from a visiting team fan's perspective, if you had one choice to attend a road game and the Saints / Superdome is on your schedule, where do you go?
Nola is such a tourist attraction, Superdome is renowned as one of the most energetic stadiums, stay in the quarter or downtown and everything is walking distance, the food, the culture.... I think those also play a big factor as well especially for non-divisional games.

You would be surprised how much steeler gear I see around the city. I think a fair number of steeler fans in the dome are locals.

I'll be home (down the bayou) for Christmas and am looking for 2 tickets to the game. If anyone is looking to get rid of their tickets at a reasonable price, please let me know.

I can’t go but I gifted mine to a coworker.
Decided I might want to go anyway solo so I looked on the exchange. Let’s of tickets buy priced really high. Is the demand high for this one? Haven’t seen much movement in the market aside from people listing.

My wife and l are looking for tickets for this game, crazy prices on all the ticket sites right now though ?
