That was a juvenile thing for Joe Biden to say. I don't understand why Democrats insist on getting in the mud with Trump. If they would just give Trump the rope, he'll end up hanging himself. Instead, they're played by Trump's rhetoric. How much of it is his money? Has he released his taxes? How do we know what he is really worth? F.Y.I. Joe Biden is blowing him up today.
He's said that his assets and his company are worth "many billions and billions of dollars." There has been a fairly long debate over the months about how much he is actually worth, and he's been evasive about it. Clearly the guy is very wealthy, but out of vanity or whatever he's been exaggerating his worth. You realize it's 3.7 billion and not million right? Isn't that nearly $4,000 million?
I'm gonna miss that crazy ***holeThat said, Biden has a long standing tradition of saying stuff like this, so I guess it's par for the course for him.
He's not completely incompetent, but he is really only at this level of wealth due to his father. Without dad's assistance, he probably loses most of his fortune at any number of points on his time line.My personal guess is he's actually worth a lot less than that, if you liquidated all of his holdings.
When you look at the giants of real estate development (Sam Zell, Herb Simon, Mike Faschitelli, Steve Roth), they tend not to have to get day jobs like appearing on TV shows, or licensing their name, to support their lifestyle. They replow all their time, effort and profits into building their real estate empires.
Trump doesn't have one. He doesn't have commercial office park developments. He doesn't have many commercial office buildings. He doesn't have malls or big mixed-use developments.
He HAS stuck his name on some high-end projects, some of which have worked, and some have not. He put a lot of time and energy into casinos, and he's been a disaster while guys like Sheldon Adelson have built untold wealth.
I just don't see it.
