Veteran tackle Rocky McIntosh, cut by the Chiefs before the season, continues to visit with potential suitors.

Per a league source, McIntosh is heading to New Orleans for a visit.

He recently visited the Seahawks, where we're told he weighed in at a svelte 333 pounds.

We're told that three other teams are interested. But for now we don't know which teams they are.

A deal is expected for McIntosh in the near future

Interesting that 3 teams are also interested. He and Langston Walker are probably the best available OTs in the market.

First I find Porter's hurt worse than we were told, is 50/50 for Sunday and didn't practice. Now I find out Jermon Bushrod's in the same boat.....great...... and the fact they're bringing in FA OT's......I have a headache now.

The Porter injury is blown out of proportion by Jeff Duncan.

Here's what Porter said himself:

On his knee: "It's gotten better since Sunday. Now I'm just waiting on what the coaches want to do and what the trainers want to do.
How'd you get injured:'I went in for the tackle and banged into the running back. Just a little bruise, nothing too serious.

And McIntosh is 32, does not play LT and he's a horrible pass protector, so I doubt we're looking at him as a backup LT.

I hope Porter will be fine, but after missing most of last year, I am a bit shocked. Didn't know we were looking for 32 year old OT, guess Iggles game will be a tight one...

I f we sign him, I hink it will have more to do with how long JB will be out than Bushrod being out for this week end.

Regarding Porter, I have a rule, never trust what a player is saying or what a coach is saying regarding an injury...I wouldn't be surprised if his out this week end.

We could bring him to play back up RT in case we need to move Streif to LT or back up LT if Brown is out until week 6-7 like some people predicted

I think this means J Brown is out longer than anticipated.
It shouldn't be a surprized to anyone.....first the Saints FO ALWAYS downplay the injuries we have, when they say someone is out for 2 weeks, expect him to miss 4. Also, a hip injury isn't bad long term but you can't do anything, not even ride a stationary bike, meaning JB's conditioning is gonna be completly gone when he's cleared to play...that mean you can add twoo weeks to the recovery time before he can actualy play. I've always expected him to be out until week 6-7

We should give Langston Walker a call. Does anybody have the scoop on him?

Strief will do fine at LT, but if Bushrod is out we are paper thin so we have to bring someone in as backup

So if Jeff Duncan would have said he ws 80/20 would you feel better? He finished the game last weekend. A bruise is a bruise. Once he quit playing and lost adrenaline, his knee probably tightened up. I doubt he could of finished the game last week if this was anymore serious. He still has 3 days of rest & treatment, TP should be fine.

Really guys?

Stop overracting. This doesn't mean Brown is out longer, Bushrod is done, Strief fell off a cliff, etc.

It simply means we are bringing in a backup RT in case Strief has to slide over. If he or Stinchcomb get hurt then this new guy would step in.

Same kind of deal with the Eagles bringing Garcia in. They needed a backup.
