Fortune ranks Superior Energy No. 54 fastest-growing biz (1 Viewer)

HARVEY – Superior Energy Services Inc. is ranked No. 54 among Fortune magazine’s
100 Fastest Growing Companies for 2007.

Superior and other candidates were ranked by revenue growth rate, earnings per share
growth rate and three-year annualized total return to investors. The overall rank is
based on the sum of the three ranks.

Superior was one of a record-setting number of oil and gas industry-related companies
included on the list.

“We are noticeably growing in multiple arenas, including our international presence,"
said Ken Blanchard, Superior president and chief operating officer.

Superior Energy Services provides production-related services, rental tools and liftboats.
Superior Energy Services, headquartered in Harvey, employees more than 4,200 people
in more than 70 locations worldwide.

I've been on their lift boats, when I was a friendly safety guy for Torch Offshore. They went out of business before the boom. Sad. We would sleep & eat on the jack-ups, and the welders would fabricate pipes on the deck. We would basically wander around the Gulf doing repairs on rigs. Superior is a good company.
