they should never be used honestly, no one ever runs in a straight line without pads on in the NFL. id be more worried about those cone drills and quick movement drills

Yep, been preaching this for years. The 40 time is the most overhyped, overblown, overrated stat in all of scouting. If you look at a list of all time WR's, most would be shocked at how many aren't "blazers".....
