This according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com:

Franchise tag numbers tentatively set; 2013 cap near $121M - NFL.com

Some possible needs:

CB: Franchise: $10.668 Transition: $8.939

DT: Franchise: $8.306 Transition: $6.919

LB: Franchise: $9.455 Transition: $8.216

OL: Franchise: $9.660 Transition: $8.560

S: Franchise: $6.798 Transition: $5.899

TE: Franchise: $5.962 Transition: $5.105

WR: Franchise: $10.357 Transition: $8.716

This can give us a good idea on how much a free agent can cost, and also on how a deal can be structure.

Considering our cap situation, if we are going to fill a position on free agency, I'll go Tight End and Safety and let other needs like OT, DT or corner for the draft.

What teams are going to be shopping for LT's in the free agent market? Trying to gauge how realistic it is that we could re-sign Bushrod. Looking at that list of free agents this morning, I noticed that there are many tackles better than Bushrod hitting the market next month.

The franchise tag for the position is:

OL: Franchise: $9.660 Transition: $8.560

Several teams can be looking for a left tackle: Miami, Philly, Detroit, Chicago and the Bengals come to mind, and all of them have money to spend.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles and Cards went for Clady, Long or Albert and either Fisher or Joeckel was still on the board at 15. I'm not saying it's definitely but I certainly wouldn't bet against it. IMO that would be our dream scenario.
