Francios leaves Phlly with no deal (1 Viewer)

Colts, Titans, Eagles and Saints have all shown an interest in 49ers defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Tuesday.

I hope we sign him. I think that he could be a real difference maker in our system. As a rotation player, or just winning out a starting spot, I see hunger in this guy, and he is waiting to pay off for whoever signs him.

I wouldn't count on it because I don't think we will be the highest bidder. What Kruger signing with the Browns shows is that players are more worried about a slightly bigger paycheck than playing for a contender.

I think playing for a contender doesn't enter into the young guys minds as much. They feel like they will be able to play forever and they will get their shot eventually. I think it's only the older players that know they only have a little time left to win it all factor in whether or not a team is a contender, at least that's what history shows us.

I still can't believer we lost Kruger to Cleveland, that hurt!

yeah we need this guy, keenen Lewis and james harrison at the right price

Does he have a meeting set with us or are we just a team "interested" in his services?

I thought we were just "interested" until I saw this.

Not sure how true it is. I know he left Philly after they signed Sopoagna.

51 games played, only 49 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 FF.

I know he was in a rotation, but he didn't even average a 1 tackle/game. Pass.

you realize games played means nothing right? for all you know he may have only played 1 snap a game; i know its highly unlikely but im just showing numbers dont means anything when taken with the wrong context.

also consider he may have played special teams (especially as a rookie) where it counted as a game played, but never played a D snap.

He gone:

Hey, calling it like I see it. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile, and he just found 22,000,000 of them under a tree in Indianapolis.
