Why don't they put Friday and Saturday games on Network TV after college football essentially ends? I don't know how an organization that is so money focused has missed this opportunity. I know they usually do one Saturday game just before Christmas, but they are missing several weeks of possible games. This past weekend I had really wanted to watch some football and the only option was Army Navy. And this Saturday there will be no options as far as I know.

They could do a Friday night game and on Saturday they could do 2 or 3 games, all televised.

I know there is probably some contract problem, but I'm sure the NFL could find the right price to get it done. It seems like they are missing an opportunity in this and I know that I'd watch.

Not everyone would tune in on a Friday or Saturday night though. Most people go out or get together. I am pretty sure it has more to do with the TV contracts not getting enough viewings on Friday night or Saturday night and having to compete with whatever reality tv show airs that night? I could be wrong though.

College bowl games aren't played on Saturday night?

College football games do pretty well with viewing on Saturdays, even considering there are 3-5 games on TV at any given time. I'd think the viewing audience would be there. The only people it would cut out of possibly viewing are those that are going out to eat. People who get together with friends would be able to watch. I've gotten together with friends many times on Saturdays with the women talking and all the guys talking in front of a TV with CFB on.

The college bowl games don't start until this weekend and those are the worst ones. The popular games don't start until NYE or just before.
