From Eagles board...goeagles99's Game Preview... (1 Viewer)

There's only one thing he left out of his lengthy post:

We are no where near the same offense, special teams, and defense that beat his eagles in week 6.

We've not only gotten better as a team, we've also grown in confidence and chemistry.

He'll understand this more clearly on Saturday.

However, I don't blame him for looking at every edge for his team. We would do the same.

He did provide alot of analysis, and was as objective as you would expect any fan to be. I give him props for an informative read.

I think I remember this cat from the first matchup. Loved his first write-up, and love this one. Good stuff!

"the fact that Payton has never been a HC in a playoff game and that Brees has only played in one playoff game has to be somewhat of a concern to them"

The one thing that teams have have messed up on all year....doubting these 2 guys! Seriously, the way these 2 have been all year, you would think it is Brady and Bilichick.

"the Saints haven't faced future Hall of Famer Jeff Garcia."

:_rofl: :smilielol:

I wouldnt read too much into the 5 and 5 down the stretch thing. The Saints were capable of handing Dallas and the Giants a sound butt whooping, they overlooked the Skins after an emotional victory over the Cowboys and rested their starters in the Panther game. Emotionally they are on a roll just as if they had won several games in a row. They will bring their A game just like the last time our two teams met. Also over rated by Philly fans is all the Playoff experience garbage. The Team is as playoff ready as any other team in the league, past Saints teams have nothing to do with what Sean Payton has brought to the table this year. Besides we have many veterans on our team who have been to the playoffs and who Sean Payton brought in for that "Experience factor" . Payton has also coached in a Superbowl so the experience factor IS there.

Excellent analysis. This is hitting the nail on the head imo. This is why I keep thinking it's anyone's game to win. We have to get 3 and outs and give our O opportunities. I think we have plenty of reason to worry.

The way the experience factor will playout is an unknown....but it is a factor.

Some player/coaches thrive their first time (Payton wasn't a HC then)....others falter.

We will see what happens on Saturday....

I disagree with his Eagles offensive keys. Our D gets beat by the big plays, not by dinks and dunks. Can Garcia make big plays down the field against Thomas or Craft? I haven't seen it yet.

This guy posted something like this last time we played them but it was much more cocky. I hope that these guys step up because I am tired of the Eagles and I can't wait to play them Sunday
