Very fair assessment. I would think the score would be more in the 38 Saints- 24 Lions range though. With the saints giving up the traditional 2 long scores to a WR over the top and our Offense and Defense coming alive after a 14-14 tie at the half. Lions score a late TD and try onside kick.

It'll just kill me if their assessment of special teams is right, and we somehow manage to lose this game on special teams.

The one thing they said that just jumped out at me was that Ziggy Ansah, who’s still looking for his first sack of the year, if he's healthy will be the best defensive player on the field. I haven't seen Ziggy play, but he has zero sacks on the season. Come on man. How in the heck can a guy that you think is the best defensive guy on the field, have no sacks at all?

Well, he did have 14.5 sacks last year, so I guess he's been hurt all year since he's only got 16 tackles and 0 sacks this year.....so I guess the "if he's healthy" part of the quote is the key to him claiming if healthy, Ziggy is the best defensive player on the field. Obviously he hasn't been healthy.

Okay, yeah coach P was emotional... Don't think he's going to have an emotional hangover though.
Agree. SP was emotional - and it will help, not hurt. The Lions are in for an ***-whooping today. The ***-whooping begins 1 hour 13 mins from now.

Mark my words.

I think some of us are being a bit cocky. I can easily see a very diaappinting Saints loss--one in which the Lions start the game in dominant fashion-perhaps due to Saints turnovers. We fall behind and try to rebound in the second half but can't overcome the deficit and lose by 2-3 points or more. I'll be happy with an ugly one point win...I don't expect a Saints blowout nor a high scoring game. I just hope for a balanced, mistake-free game. One Saints turnover could spell doom.
