I never had to go to NTC. But I heard the horror stories. I remember the story about that one lone shed out there... where some luckless fool would have to stand guard duty overnight.

Light it up with a black light, and the thing glowed from top to bottom... I never forgot that one. A friend told me about it, and I nearly laughed myself to death.

Just bring a few books, games, guitar, laptop, whatever. And spend the time. No point in making yourself sick to spare a few hours.

I was at a Firestone for 6 hours the other day. I read a novel. Hardly noticed the time. No problem.

Even though I do not eat waffles, I love Waffle House. It sounds like a reward to me, rather than a punishment.

Yeah, Waffle House is not much of a punishment.

Real punishment would be to make him an Atlanta Fan. Then he could watch his team embarrass and fail him into a inescapable litany of never-ending misery.
