Wouldnt do it to my kids...... funny (Hilarious) to do it to an adult not to a kid. I remember first time I got done like that.... sitting in the dark well after midnite..... I screamed like a 5 year old girl.

I think it is funny. Kids should be toughened up around that age. I don't want my kids crying cause they can't sleep alone in the dark when they are 15. Tell the kid it was a joke and show him the tape when he turns 20. Everyone will get a good laugh.

I know my opinion will change when I am a father, but I think it is funny now being a un-married 22 year old man.

No. I don't think your opinion will change... you've either got
it, or ya don't. Having kids will only bring it out even more.
I've got a boy and that looks like something I'll do when he get
a little older. (he is two) Can't wait, right now I'll just sneak up
on him wearing a mask in the store or something. However, I
can tell I will be needing to get a little more creative as he is
building a tolerance to this sort of thing.

I would never have my kid play that since I don't feel like shelling out for the future therapy sessions. However, my wife is fair game and just scared the bejesus out of her. No screen slapping, but the headset was unplugged when she frantically attempted to slide back in the chair...so good times. Thanks for the link Rob. Probably sleeping on the couch tonight but totally worth it.

Agreed. Don't do it to a kid. If you do it to a kid, don't videotape him crying afterwards. If you videotape him crying afterwards, destroy the video. If you don't destroy the video, whatever you do, DO NOT post it on the internet.

If nothing else, this is an embarassing moment for that boy. Keep it in the family. No need to humiliate him in public.

Funny...

I did it to my 9 year old last weekend (not the 'well' picture, though....it was a screaming picture of a squirrel)......I mainly did it to show him how being "scared" is all in your mind. Once he jumped at first, I just showed him how he can laugh it off, and we stood there laughing about it.

This kid in the video needs to grow a pair.
