Did anyone watch the new version of Christmas Carol with Guy Pearce on FX?

I thought it was very good and very well done and very dark

Most definitely not for kids ( surprising amount of F-Bombs)

A unique take on the tale (I don't think there were more than a couple of lines from the book in this)

Not my favorite version but I enjoyed it

I watched it up until the ghost of Christmas past. I guess the walking camel should've been the "jumping the shark" moment enough for me, but implying Scrooge was being sexually abused, his mother and Fan offing the dad, and Fan turning a gun on the boarding school director was too much.

Definitely not a traditional version for sure

Also the metoo scene with Cratchit’s wife

I did really like the scene with Scrooge’s father with the rat

I didn’t mind the camel, the explanation made sense in context
