I asked in an earlier thread how to synch up radio & TV, just found this tidbit on WWL's website, though I'm not in New Orleans and can't get 105.3, kudos to 870 for making this available to fans.

3 ways to sync up your TV to SaintsRadio, WWL

WWL.com Reporting
Turn DOWN your TV & turn UP Saints Radio!

In an effort to accommodate today’s multiple methods of TV reception, over the air, cable and satellite, our Saints Radio broadcast are now available with three incremental amounts of audio delay. One of the three should either match or be very close to your TV picture.

Man it sucks that they can't offer the feed on the internet. I'd love to be able to listen.

I can pick up 870 when I'm in Mississippi all the way to south Jackson, not the clearest in the world, but tolerable.

There's a fourth method. I've been using a Griffin RadioShark 2.
It's a radio that plugs into your computer's USB port. You can
listen through the computer's speakers or line out to your audio system.
It works like a TiVo and you can delay the audio by any increment.
You can save the entire broadcast to your iTunes library.
Costs about $35-40. Works great on my Mac. Supposed to work on PC too.

Why on earth do the Saints have a radio affiliate in Lafayette, Indiana?

This is a good option because the 105.3 FM option in New Orleans is still .5 to 1 seconds early (hard to tell but sometimes it seems like Jim calls it a whole second early).

Sounds like there is always some sort of delay on radio. Why is it then when you're at the game listening to WWL, it matches perfectly?

It's my understanding that there is a 105.3 FM repeater in the Dome, that overrides the signal coming from the main transmitter.

Its a possibility that its the TV that has a small delay.

Edit: or what the guy above said.
