Expect a battle at shooting guard between E’Twaun Moore and Tim Hardaway Jr. though!

Exactly one week ago, David Fizdale started a lot of youngsters against the Pelicans: Mitchell Robinson, Kenny Knox, Alonso Trier and Emmanuel Mudiay to go along with Tim Hardaway Jr. Tonight, the Knicks head coach is opting for Mario Hezonja, Noah Vonleh and Enes Kanter alongside Mudiay and Hardaway.

It’s more experience, and after knocking off the Boston Celtics in New York’s last contest, a mandatory move for Fizdale. In the grand scheme of things though, this starting lineup shouldn’t change the outcome — Vegas does list the Pelicans as five-point favorites.

While the Pelicans have struggled immensely on the road (2-7), most of the these games came against winning teams. Further, New Orleans didn’t have the luxury of fielding their whole core in nearly all of the matchups. So what does this mean we should expect tonight against the 2-6 Knicks at home?

Who knows!!!

However, you can be sure that if New Orleans decides to come out with the requisite intensity and focus, the Pelicans should be great position to get back to their winning ways. If not, expect another comeback that falls short without that happy ending.

This is what drives me insane about the Pels.

They can beat the top team in the East on the road by 16, then turn around and lose to a 5-14 team.

No Pelicans team should ever lose on the road to a 5-14 team.... EVER.
